At Gethsemane Garden Christian Center, our mission is rooted in the call to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and to grow God’s Kingdom—one life at a time. Located on the island of Mfangano in Kenya, we are dedicated to raising up a generation of young people who know the love of Christ, understand the power of the Gospel, and are equipped to carry that message into their communities and beyond.
Through daily discipleship, Bible teaching, and a Christ-centered education, we pour into the spiritual growth of every child in our care. Whether in the classroom, in chapel, or through personal mentorship, we create opportunities for children to encounter God and build their lives on His truth.
We believe that the Gospel transforms lives and that when young people know who they are in Christ, they can change the world around them. That’s why everything we do—from providing care and education to offering hope and healing—is an extension of our commitment to sharing the love and message of Jesus.
